Mr. Masciola owns a law practice in the District of Columbia specializing in Federal Tort Claim's Act plaintiff's military medical malpractice, healthcare provider licensure and credentials, and military criminal law. Mr. Masciola is an accomplished military and civilian defense counsel and military justice prosecutor with 26 years of military law and medical malpractice experience. He recently completed a 17 month active duty tour as the Chief Defense Counsel for the Guantanamo Bay Military Commissions. Born in Boston, he received his Juris Doctorate from the New England School of Law in 1983, and is admitted to the Bar in Massachusetts and Washington, DC. He is married and has two children. He is a Colonel in the Air National Guard and has been selected for promotion to Brigadier General in his Reserve Air National Guard capacity.
